National Stadium 30 june 07 ||

I went to National Stadium yesterday.. Oh my god, when was the last time i been there? I think was youth festival..we were there early at abt 330 as we worried there isnt place to park. Luckily we were right to reach early.Remy got us tickets for the grandstand. However going in to 'chop' place is another disaster as the process of waiting there was torturing.. the weather was damn hot and humid ! I was like sweating like hell~ Soon, frances and her friends came and Mr Ong came even later then us. He gotta run with the rest of the TEAM SINGAPORE and light up the tourch of the stadium. But what i'm looking forward for the day is the match between singapore and Australia and the zouk party thereafter.
A match started at 5pm. Singapore Ex-Int VS Malaysia ex-int. I guess i dunno any of them because i was not born then. But i knew they were the first team to make singapore proud to win the 1st malaysia cup! Perhaps all of them can be my father or even grandfathers BUT they still run. They were so cute..haha..only 50mins game.

The best highlight of the day was definitely the match between singapore and australia..Well first half of the game australia kinda very relag.. and the score was 0-0

When the 2nd half perhaps australia dont give face anymore and beat us down to 3-0 !

They were so much agressive in 2nd half! But i'll say our spore team played very well! They have potential to score. but australia was defintely a strong team which we cant compare..it was a friendly match anyway. Well done =)

After the match, the stadium is finally announced offically closed in the hands of President Nathan. There were fireworks..videoclips of memories in the stadium..

The whole event ended and we didnt went in the zouk party coz it was long queue and heard it was not so fun inside..Instead, we all headed to pub for drinks.

It was a memorable night that i remembered..Guess we are now attending a new era in life..

The memories of what our athletes did which makes us proud. It's not just a stadium..its a place where memories, laughter, cheers & joy happened.

We will never forget Our National Stadium , our kallang wave & that kallang roar~~
